Software QA Engineer

WHO YOU ARE
You are a Software QA Engineer who possesses a solid background in SQA methodology, software testing, defect reporting, and test case management. You are a strong team player who appreciates excellence, who is passionate about their work and fair in their interactions with people.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
• Maintain test plans and suites, create and update test cases
• Perform manual and automated test case execution
• File defect reports, prioritize and follow-up on bugs, report status
• Work towards improving quality processes, continuously grow skills and capability

WHAT WE REQUIRE
• 2 years’ minimum professional work experience in Software QA/testing
• Knowledge and understanding of SQA concepts and methodology
• Functional understanding of programming concepts
• Broad knowledge of computer systems, tools, and operation
• Working knowledge of platform virtualization tools
• Excellent communication and time management skills
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to learn new products, tools, and concepts quickly
• Passionate about software quality
• Verbal and written English fluency

ADDITIONAL PREFERRED SKILLS
• Experience working on web-related projects, understanding of web technologies
• Experience creating automated systems for performing software functions

EDUCATION
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent professional experience
